We collect only what is needed to run the App:
- Account data: email address and authentication metadata from your sign-in provider.
- App data: the debts, payments, incomes, expenses, plans, and notes you enter.
- Acceptance log: when you accept these Terms we record the date/time, your IP address, and your browser user agent as proof of consent.
- Operational logs: standard server logs for security and debugging.
Cookies & analytics. The App uses essential cookies and local storage — to keep you signed in and to remember UI preferences. On the website, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which screens are visited) so we can improve it; Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes usage data, including a truncated/derived identifier and general location, under Google's privacy policy, and we use it only for aggregate product analytics. The iOS app asks your permission first: on first launch it shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and only if you allow it does the app use Google Analytics as described above. If you decline — or later turn it off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking — the app loads no analytics and removes any analytics cookies. The Android app does not use analytics and sets no tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, do not sell your data, and do not share your data with data brokers; analytics never receives the financial details you enter (balances, holdings, account numbers). On the website you can limit analytics through your browser settings.
Sharing. Data is shared only with the household members you explicitly invite, and with service providers strictly needed to operate the App (hosting, database, AI model provider, and — only if you choose to link a financial account — Plaid). We do not sell your data.
Connected accounts. Linking a financial account is optional. If you link one, we use Plaid to retrieve your account data; you are shown the "Connecting Your Financial Accounts" disclosure at that time (what Plaid accesses and how to disconnect). Plaid handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Your rights. You can edit or delete your data from inside the App at any time. You can delete your account entirely — including all data in households only you belong to — from Settings → Profile → Delete account; any active subscription is cancelled and linked bank connections are removed as part of deletion.
